Chemistry of Life is the official journal of the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. It is published bimonthly in Chinese and distributed worldwide. The aim of this journal is to provide our readers with the most recent progress and technology in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology research. It also disseminates information of the academic activities of the society and helps our readers, especially the members of the society, to exchange ideas. It publishes mini-review articles and progress reports on both specific and general topics. It also publishes reports in new technologies, new methodologies, comments on books and summaries of conferences, etc.
Our readers are mostly members of the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Researchers in the basic research and applied research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (including medical and pharmacological sciences), students and teachers of Biology and Chemistry will also benefit from this journal.
Chemistry of Life encourages both free submission and invited submission, and all the manuscripts will undergo single-blind peer-review process. Invited review articles are usually written by well-known experts in a special field summarizing the progress and trends in his particular field. Chemistry of Life is hopefully going to be one of the best-known journals in life science in China and “a window through which Chinese biochemists understand the world”.
