What is CSPP ?
The Chinese Society for Plant Physiology (CSPP) is a public non-profit scientific organization dedicated to advance the field of plant physiology. Founded in October 1963 CSPP was a member society of the International Association for Plant Physiology (IAPP) since 1990, and is now associated with International Society for Plant Molecular Biology. Since it’s founding, CSPP has grown to more than 5000 members who are widely distributed in China.
CSPP fosters excellence in research and education in plant physiology. Our objectives are to provide communication forums for our members through scientific conferences and workshops to promote knowledge and technology exchanges and encourage creative and advanced researches. We are associated with the journal Molecular Plant and Plant Physiology Communications. We promote science outreach to the public and advocate education in plant physiology. We encourage members to provide their professional services to our society, particularly in agriculture, forestry and biotechnology, and we make recommendations for our excellent members to serve in our communities and governments.
